The LFC Blog Walk-around
Here we showcase some of the LFC's most recent built Lego fire related MOCs!
My dear goodness gracious! If there's one thing that you probably know about me, it's that I absolutely love tillers XD Anyway, featured in today's walk-around is Bricklington County Fire Department Truck 106, which in my opinion, is one of the best tillers ever made! With a brick built aerial device that extends, functional doors, and functional 5th wheel steering, Truck 106 has some really neat features! If you have not done so already, be sure to check out Bricklington County Fire Department's website! ~Michael About the BCFD: The Bricklington County Fire Department is a career staffed department providing comprehensive fire, rescue, and EMS services to the citizens of Bricklington County, an area of 28.4 square miles. The BCFD is a career staffed department and operates 10 Engines, 4 Trucks, 2 Rescues, 6 Medics, and a variety of command and specialist units out of 10 stations strategically located throughout Bricklington. About Truck 106: Truck Company 106 is housed at station 106 which is located in the Northwest area of Bricklington County. Truck 106’s first due area includes commercial areas, residential neighborhoods, and a stretch of Interstate 66. Truck 106 operates this 2018 Pierce Ascendant 107’ TDA. In addition to standard truck company equipment, and a large compliment of ground ladders, the truck is equipped with a set of extrication tools for accident responses. The maneuverability of the tiller allows it to easily navigate narrow residential streets, shortening response times.
This model was built to be as detailed and functional as possible. Several of the storage compartments can open, the ladder is fully functional, the rear wheel can turn, the roto-ray can spin, and there is room for internal ladder storage.
